Week 2 NFL Betting Picks Against The Spread

Josh Allen scoring a touchdown on the Dolphins

Week 1 of the 2024-25 NFL season is in the books, with half the league possessing records of 1-0 and the other half 0-1. NFL betting sites have offered up lines for the entire Week 2 slate of games, and here we offer our stone cold locks against the spread.

Tonight at 8:15 PM, the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins will play for the early edge in the AFC East.

Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins

  • Spread: Bills +2.5 (-105), Dolphins -2.5 (-115)
  • Moneyline: Bills +120, Dolphins -140
  • Over: 49.0 (-105)
  • Under: 49.0 (-105)

The Dolphins are favored by a spread of 2.5 points at home, but they haven’t beaten the Bills in almost two years. We’re laying our action on the Bills to cover the 2.5 points. We also find the over intriguing at 49.0, as three of the last four contests have resulted in totals above sixty.

Sunday at 1:00 PM, the winless Browns and Jaguars meet up in Duval County, where one franchise will end up at .500 and the other in an 0-2 hole.

Cleveland Browns vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Spread: Browns +3.0 (-110), Jaguars -3.0 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Browns +140, Jaguars -165
  • Over: 41.5 (-105)
  • Under: 41.5 (-115)

Cleveland’s offense is still struggling to outpace opponents despite a consistently strong effort from their defensive unit. The Jaguars had the Miami Dolphins stalemated for 58 minutes last Sunday, and we expect them to rebound against the Browns this weekend.

We’re betting on Jacksonville to cover the three points at home.

Also scheduled for 1:00 PM this Sunday is a battle between the NFC West and NFC North when the 49ers travel to Minneapolis to play the Vikings.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Minnesota Vikings

  • Spread: 49ers -5.5 (-110), Vikings +5.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: 49ers -240, Vikings +200
  • Over: 45.5 (-110)
  • Under: 45.5 (-110)

Minnesota played admirably against the New York Giants in Week 1, but San Francisco is better to the man nearly across the board than the Vikings. Bet on the 49ers to win by six or more points.

Sunday afternoon at 4:05 PM, an NFC West basement dweller will attempt to climb up the ranks versus an interdivisional opponent.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals

  • Spread: Rams +1.0 (-110), Cardinals -1.0 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Rams EVEN, Cardinals -120
  • Over: 48.0 (-105)
  • Under: 48.0 (-115)

The Cardinals should have beaten the Bills on the road last weekend and are getting a point at home against the Rams. LA lost by six against the Detroit Lions in overtime last Sunday, and we expect the Rams to build on that performance and get the win in Zona.

Bet on the Rams to cover against the Cardinals. The moneyline odds for LA represent the same wager as the spread but with a slightly better payout versus what you risk.
