With the 2020 NFL Draft drawing the focus of football fanatics across the country, Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady do their best to capture the spotlight.

At a time when all 32 teams are typically busy considering the future trajectory of their franchise, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are focusing on the here and now, trading a fourth-round pick to the New England Patriots to reunite Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady.

The announcement of the trade comes on the eve of what will be the first virtual draft in the history of the league. How the production of this draft will appear on screen is anyone’s guess, but the New York Post is reporting that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will broadcast from his basement-level man cave.

With most of the US still quarantining at home because of the Coronavirus, broadcasting remotely makes the most sense for the NFL. It is not likely that top draft picks will have the chance to shake the commissioner’s hand in person, but who knows what the NFL has planned for this unprecedented telecast.

Louisiana State University quarterback Joe Burrow has been a lock to be selected by the Cincinnati Bengals with the top pick for months now, but the fate of University of Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa has engrossed draft predicters and the best USA sportsbooks alike.

Once venturing beyond the fist pick, all possibilities open up, and experts on NFL Draft betting have weighed in with a bevy of odds that reflect these potential outcomes.

Tagovailoa has been attached to the Miami Dolphins dating back to last season when the team was accused of “tanking for Tua,” losing games in an effort to secure a pick high enough to select him.

Things changed for both Tua and Miami as the Dolphins started winning games, and Tagovailoa went down with a season-ending hip injury. The odds still favor Tagovailoa to be selected by Miami with the fifth overall pick, but there have been whispers of other teams attempting to trade for the Washington Redskins’ second pick.

There have also been rumors that Miami is attempting to trade up to the second pick to assure that they can acquire the Alabama quarterback. He is currently the favorite at many USA sportsbook sites to be the second QB selected, but Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert also has odds in the negative.

WHO WILL BE THE 3RD OVERALL PICK?

  • JEFFREY OKUDAH -140
  • TUA TAGOVAILOA +120
  • FIELD +350
  • CHASE YOUNG +1600
  • ISAIAH SIMMONS +1100

WHEN WILL JUSTIN HERBERT BE DRAFTED?

  • OVER 5.5 PICK -135
  • UNDER 5.5 PICK -105

Ohio State Buckeyes defensive back Jeffrey Okudah is positioned to be selected third overall by the Detroit Lions. Once again, Tagovailoa is lingering around the top of the odds and is creating intriguing options for a team that already has a franchise quarterback on board in Matthew Stafford.

Tua not only appears in a variety of possible scenarios, but he is also favored. He has a high probability of being drafted anywhere from the second to fifth pick and has the potential to plummet to the end of the first round if he lasts beyond six.

The NFL Draft is all about risk and reward. After Burrow is selected with the first pick, the drama begins. Which team will step up and bet the future of their franchise on Tua Tagovailoa? Tune in tonight to find out.
